Catastrophic Damage Grant

CTA Disaster Relief Fund

The CTA Disaster Relief Fund, administered by the FACT Foundation, exists to provide financial assistance to CTA members who have experienced significant losses as a result of disasters in the state of California.

Qualifying applicants may receive a Catastrophic Damage Grant of up to $1,500.

The following eligibility requirements apply:

  • Qualified and approved for a CTA Disaster Relief Fund Standard Grant of $1,500, and;
  • Damages to the member’s primary residence exceed $50,000, and;
  • Substantiation of damages exceeding $50,000 provided, and verified by the member’s local chapter.

Interested members are encouraged to contact their local office, the nearest Regional Resource Center or the CTA website for an application form. The completed form must be returned to the member’s Chapter President for verification.

Note: Disaster Relief Fund payments are intended for expenses not compensated for by insurance or otherwise.
