75 Years Strong: CTA and California Casualty Celebrate California Educators Through Community and Connection

California educators change lives every day in their classrooms, schools and communities. For 75 years, California Casualty has worked alongside CTA to help protect educators through its exclusive member auto and home insurance programs while also strengthening public education both within and beyond the classroom through grants, educator engagement, and community-focused initiatives.
California Casualty grants supporting athletics, music & arts, and classroom needs do more than fund supplies or equipment. They have helped educators create experiences that inspire creativity, build confidence, encourage teamwork and expand opportunities for students who might otherwise go without. Each grant reflects an educator's commitment to students and a partnership dedicated to helping that commitment thrive.
From providing resources and on-site support to sponsoring opportunities for connection and learning, California Casualty helps enhance the experience for educators gathering at CTA events across the state. These interactions strengthen relationships with CTA members while providing valuable insight into the needs of schools and communities. That understanding helps guide future programs, grants and initiatives designed to create meaningful impact on educators students and public education throughout California.
To mark the 75th anniversary, California Casualty awarded 75 CTA members $75 each, with one $750 grand prize still to be awarded later this year. The giveaway is one more way to celebrate the educators, schools and communities that have made this partnership meaningful for generations.
Entries for the $750 drawing are still being accepted, with one winner to be randomly selected in late November. So if you haven't entered yet, there's still time to become part of the celebration.
After 75 years, this partnership is about more than looking back on what we've accomplished together. It's about continuing to listen, give back, celebrate educators and create new opportunities to support the people shaping the future of public education.
